English Literature

English Literature offers students a wide range of possible higher education and career paths. The skills developed are in high demand from employers and universities.

The subject develops independent and critical thought, research skills and the ability to express ideas powerfully and succinctly in both speech and writing.

English Literature is an incredibly dynamic and enriching subject to study and teach. Everyone has a different perspective and interpretation of a particular text and exploring that wealth of ideas and responses through active discussion and creative work with students means there is always something new to consider.      Ms Bowling   English Teacher
