Results & Destinations

An education at Lingfield College perfectly balances life skills, creative expression and academic ambition. Each year, our exceptional results and diverse post-18 destinations reflect our ethos of supporting every student to fulfil their potential — whether their sights are set on a top university, a degree apprenticeship, or a creative or professional pathway.

Our distinctive Sixth Form culture — ambitious, inclusive and nurturing — creates the ideal environment for academic success. In recent years, Lingfield students have achieved outstanding results, with many going on to flourish at some of the UK’s most competitive universities and employers.

In fact, in 2024 we were ranked in the top 2.5% of schools nationally for value-added at A Level. For our students, this means they achieved better results here than they likely would have elsewhere — something we are very proud of.

A Level Results

A LEVEL & BTEC RESULTS 2026

Students at Lingfield College are celebrating the School’s best-ever set of A Level and BTEC exam results, marking a fantastic achievement for the Class of 2026.

  • 90% of BTEC grades awarded Distinction* or Distinction

Every grade awarded in Economics and Further Mathematics was A* or As, while Mathematics saw an exceptional 10 A* grades, with 64% awarded A*-A. In Business, 91% of grades were A*-B, while in Sport BTEC every grade was awarded Distinction* or Distinction. University Destinations For 2026

Most of our students will go on to study at a top university or an institution that is the best for their subject specialism. We actively encourage our A Level students to broaden their horizons and seek to study abroad in Europe and the USA. We also provide comprehensive support and information on various alternative options, such as degree apprenticeships.
