Key Admissions Dates
Below you will find the key admissions dates for each entry point at Lingfield College. Please select the relevant year group for full details of deadlines, assessments and decision dates.

Nursery
We welcome enquiries for Nursery places throughout the year.
There is no formal application deadline; however, availability can vary by age group and session. Some year groups fill more quickly than others and may operate a waiting list.
We encourage families to visit us and register their interest early so that we can advise on current availability and the most suitable start date for their child.
- Children in our Nursery benefit from priority access to the Prep School as part of our all-through community.
Prep School
We accept applications for Reception to Year 6 throughout the year.
Although we have no formal closing date, we strongly advise parents to visit us and apply as early as possible to secure a place, as they are limited. Parents can register their children with us from birth, although we recommend registering by the end of the Autumn Term the year before entry, or by the Spring Term at the latest.

- Please note: Pupils currently in Lingfield Prep do not sit entrance examinations for progression into Year 7. Transition into the Senior School is part of our all-through pathway and is supported through ongoing assessment and dialogue with families.
