Lettings Administrator

Start date: to start as soon as possible

We are currently recruiting a Lettings Administrator to join our External Relations Team at Lingfield College, starting as soon as possible. 

In this role, you would be responsible for scheduling, booking and coordinating external lettings of the School's facilities.  This will involve liaising with clients, ensuring all bookings comply with school policies, and providing excellent customer service to promote the School as a premier venue for events and activities.

The role is a busy one requiring the ideal candidate to have strong administrative and organisational skills, computer literacy and excellent attention to detail.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with a customer service focus, are essential, and the successful candidate will demonstrate a professional approach to work and remain calm under pressure.  Experience of working in a similar role in a school environment would be an advantage but is not essential.

Salary Competitive salary discussed at interview.

Hours This post is offered on a part-time basis, working 15 hours per week during term time and 5 hours per week during the school holidays, on an all-year contract.  The working days are flexible with the possibility of some weekend working.

Nursery Room Leader Under 2s (Mat Cover)

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and qualified Nursery Room Leader to join our friendly nursery team in the Under 2s room in Lingfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the early experiences of children, in a nurturing environment where wellbeing and learning go hand in hand. This is for maternity cover for up to one year.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll play an active role in the day-to-day life of the nursery, working closely with parents, carers and other professionals to ensure every child feels safe, supported and inspired to learn.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with experience in an early years setting who brings energy, warmth and a genuine passion for working with young children. You’ll need a relevant childcare qualification (NVQ Level 3), excellent communication skills and the confidence to work on your own initiative, as well as a team-focused mindset and a positive, can-do attitude.

Hours and benefits

The role is full time, working all year round. The nursery is open Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 6.00pm, and hours are worked on a shift basis within these times. We offer:
