Personal Tours

Personal Tours are available throughout the year and for every entry point.

A private visit offers a highly personal way to experience Lingfield on a typical working day, with the individual attention of our staff.

You will explore our grounds, buildings and facilities, experience teaching in action and have the opportunity to discuss your child, the admissions process and life at Lingfield in more detail.

When we came to visit Lingfield College we were immediately struck by the family feel of the whole school. It was so welcoming.

Open Mornings

Our Open Mornings are an opportunity for the whole family to explore Lingfield College.

You will enjoy a guided tour, visit our classrooms and facilities, and hear from the Headmaster or Head of Prep about the values and educational approach that shape life at Lingfield.

Throughout your visit, you will meet academic and pastoral staff, talk to current pupils and discover more about our broad curriculum, extensive co-curricular programme and supportive School community.

It is the ideal way to appreciate our future-focused approach to learning and understand how we help young people become happy, confident and ready for what comes next.

Sixth Form Information Evening 

Our Sixth Form Information Evening takes place each October and offers students and their families the opportunity to explore life in the Lingfield Sixth Form.

Discover how our small classes, specialist teaching and individual guidance can help students prepare for university, a degree apprenticeship or a fulfilling career.

During the evening, you will:

• Meet our Sixth Form Leadership Team
• Talk to specialist subject teachers
• Hear from current Sixth Form students
• Explore our dedicated Sixth Form facilities
• Learn more about the subjects and courses available
• Discover our enrichment, leadership and co-curricular opportunities
• Find out how we support university, apprenticeship and career applications

Prep School in Action Events

Our Prep School in Action Mornings are a popular way for prospective families to experience Lingfield Prep on a normal school day.

You will be welcomed by the Head of Prep for refreshments before joining a guided tour of the School. Visits usually last between 45 and 60 minutes, with several appointment times available.

During your visit, you will be able to:

• Observe lessons and see our teachers and pupils in action
• Talk to staff about everyday School life
• Learn more about our academic and pastoral approach
• Visit a range of classes and age groups
• Meet our wonderful children
• Explore our beautiful grounds, facilities and dynamic learning spaces

Senior School in Action Events 

Our Senior School in Action Mornings allow families to experience Lingfield during a typical working day.

You will see lessons taking place, observe the relationships between pupils and teachers and gain a genuine sense of the atmosphere across the School.

These smaller visits provide an excellent opportunity to look more closely at the areas that are important to you and to ask questions about your child’s education and future at Lingfield.

Our Senior School Experience Days, held in the summer term are designed to give prospective pupils a genuine taste of life at Lingfield College.

We invite children currently in Years 5, 7 and 10 who are considering joining the School in Year 7, Year 9 or Sixth Form to spend a day experiencing our welcoming community, inspiring teaching and broad range of opportunities.

Throughout the day, pupils take part in engaging lessons, enjoy lunch with current students, explore our excellent facilities and meet the teachers and pupils who make Lingfield such a friendly and supportive place to learn. It is an enjoyable, hands-on experience that helps children build confidence, make new friends and discover what it really feels like to be part of our School.

For many pupils, an Experience Day is the moment they begin to picture themselves at Lingfield – and for parents, it provides reassurance that their child will feel happy, supported and ready to thrive.
