🐾 Meet Percy, our Prep School dog mentor! 🐾 At just 8 months old, Percy has already earned his official mentor badge! 🐶🎓 Owned by Mrs Shackel, Percy will be easing his way into school life, gradually getting used to the hustle and bustle of the Prep School and becoming part of the Lingfield family. As he settles in, Percy will be on hand to provide plenty of canine companionship, help create a calm and happy environment, and enjoy lots of time with our pupils. We're sure there'll be plenty of opportunities for cuddles, quiet time and, of course, lots of wagging tails! 🐾 And can we talk about those ears?! 🏓 An inspiring afternoon with a Paralympic champion! 🥇 We were thrilled to welcome @willbayleytt to Lingfield, who spent time with our Year 7 and 8 pupils sharing his incredible story, from discovering table tennis to becoming a Paralympic and World Champion. Afterwards, Will got stuck in on the tables, taking on our pupils, sharing tips and giving them the chance to play against one of the world's best! 🌟 There were plenty of smiles, some seriously impressive rallies and even a chance to get up close with his Paralympic medal.🥇 A huge thank you to Will for inspiring our pupils to dream big, work hard and never give up. 🏓 #LingfieldCollege #LingfieldSport #TableTennis #Paralympics #InspiringExcitingFutures

🍎Our biggest apple pick yet!🍏 On Saturday, our Prep School pupils came in for our annual orchard apple pick, filling bags with a bumper crop of apples from our very own orchard. The apples will now be transformed into delicious apple juice by a local supplier, before making their way back to Lingfield College for everyone to enjoy! Last night's LAMDA Showcase celebrated the incredible confidence, creativity and talent of our students, with a fantastic evening of performances that had the audience captivated from start to finish. On Saturday, 13 students from Years 9-12 attended the annual Model United Nations Conference at Reigate Grammar School (REIMUN). The student-led conference featured various committees debating global issues such as: The expansion of access to nuclear weapons AI use in drone warfare How to tackle sovereign debt Vaccination policies during disease outbreaks, The General Assembly had students debating a fictional crisis in which Sudan was divided up by the USA, with portions handed over to Western powers to govern. Last week, our Music Award Holders and Scholars took to the stage for a wonderful evening of live music, sharing their talent, dedication and love of performing with family, friends and members of our school community. The Music Scholars' Concert is always a wonderful occasion and provides us with the opportunity to officially welcome our new Year 7 and Year 9 Scholars to the Music Department, while also celebrating the achievements and progress of all our Scholars over the past year. This year's programme showcased an impressive variety of genres and instruments, and with several students now preparing for Grade 7, Grade 8 and Diploma examinations, we were treated to an exceptional standard of musicianship. It was a real pleasure to see our Scholars performing with such confidence, commitment and musical maturity A huge well done to every student who performed.
