Medical Officer – to start August/September 2024
We are recruiting to the role of Medical Officer in our Senior School to start in August/September 2024. This is a highly skilled role requiring the ideal candidate to support the medical needs of our students, administer front line First Aid and to provide an effective high-quality administrative service for Senior School staff, students and visitors. Day to day tasks include the administration of medication, supporting students to manage long term medical conditions e.g. asthma, and liaising with parents and carers where required.
This post is a varied and busy role and will require someone who is highly organised with strong administrative skills to maintain detailed and accurate records, together with the ability to take control in an emergency situation when needed and direct others. A willingness to deal with a variety of tasks with a ‘can do’ and flexible approach to work is vital.
Experience of working in a school or medical environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
Salary: Competitive starting salary
Hours: Full time basis 8.15 am to 5.15 pm Monday to Friday, term time only plus 4 weeks.
