Deputy Nursery Manager – to start as soon as possible

We are currently recruiting a Deputy Nursery Manager to work alongside the Head of Nursery in delivering a high standard of learning, development and care for children in the Nursery setting.

The successful candidate will support the Head of the Nursery to ensure the effective daily management of the Nursery, with a sound knowledge of all policies, procedures, statutory welfare requirements and ISI and Ofsted criteria and expectations, ensuring that these are maintained at all times. You will work in partnership with parents, carers and professionals to promote the well-being of the children, developing and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate with either Room Leader, Senior in Charge or nursery management experience to take the next step in their career.

You will be Level 3 qualified in childcare and have a good working knowledge of current legislation and monitoring requirements under the EYFS. This hands-on role requires excellent planning and organisational skills, along with the ability to manage, motivate and act as a positive role model for the nursery team.

Knowledge of the independent school sector would be an advantage, but it is not essential.

Hours of Work: Full-time on an all-year contract. The working times are Monday from 9.30 am to 6 pm, Tuesday from 9.30 am to 6 pm, Wednesday from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm, Thursday from 9.30 am to 5 pm, and Friday from 7.30 am to 6 pm.

Annual Leave: 5 weeks per year

Salary: This role attracts a competitive salary dependent on experience.

Nursery Staff

We are looking for qualified and unqualified nursery staff to join our Bank Staff at Lingfield College to help with short term or adhoc cover.
