Teaching Assistants

We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for our Prep School to work closely with class teachers to assist in the smooth running of the classroom and to provide support for children in a welcoming, caring and safe environment.

Day to day tasks include supporting small groups of children specifically with Maths and English, supervising children in line with a duty rota and to undertake general administrative duties.

This post is a varied and busy role and will require someone who is motivated to provide a fun and stimulating environment for the children.  Ideally you will have a Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning and be familiar with Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculums. Experience of working in a similar role in a school environment would be an advantage but is not essential.

Competitive salary discussed at interview.

Hours: Full or part-time, term-time only.

Closing date: 9.00 am on Monday 6th June 2022. 

Interviews: week commencing 13th June 2022.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work with our SENDCo in Lingfield College Senior School, planning, preparing and delivering assigned programmes of teaching and learning activities to individuals, small groups and/or classes.

You will provide support for our students, SENDCo teachers and the School in order to raise standards of achievement, as well as be involved in assessing the needs of students using knowledge and specialist skills to support students’ learning.

This post is a varied and busy role and will require someone who is motivated to provide an engaging and stimulating environment for the students.  You will have a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, and ideally have an understanding of working with students with additional learning needs. Experience of working in a similar role in a school environment would be an advantage.

Competitive starting salary.

Full time (8.25 am to 4.10 pm Monday to Friday), term time only on a permanent contract.

Senior School Catering Assistant – Holroyd Howe

At Lingfield College Senior School, we are looking for a Catering Assistant.  30 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.15 am to 15.15 pm. Term Time only. Occasional overtime is required.  The rate of pay is £9.09 per hour.

Duties include washing up and general cleaning, serving and a small amount of food preparation.

Training and Uniform provided. Immediate Start.

The role will require two references and an enhanced DBS and is subject to a 3-month probationary period.

After School Club Assistants

We are currently recruiting bank staff to cover ad hoc hours in our After School Club.

Sports Coaches - Prep School

We are currently recruiting Sports Coaches to work at the Prep School in the new academic year.

The hours would be on an Adhoc basis and the hourly rate (paid on timesheet) will be discussed at the interview.

Nursery Bank Staff 

We are currently recruiting bank staff to cover ad hoc hours in our Nursery.  If you have an Early Years Qualification or childcare experience and would be interested in this role, please forward a CV to hr@lingfieldcollege.co.uk.

Kitchen Porter 

At Lingfield College, we require a kitchen porter. Responsibilities include general manual wash-up of all kitchen and service items, putting away deliveries and general cleaning of store area, minimal food preparation and assisting in keeping the catering area clean and tidy 

Ideally, the candidate will have experience in a similar position, however, training will be given. 

Start Date: As soon as possible 

The role is a full time 40 hours per week, 7.30 am - 3.30 pm Monday to Friday term time only (42 weeks a year). 

The salary is £15,120 per year.  This role is subject to an enhanced DBS and 2 references.
