Leading Independent Private Sixth Form in Surrey
Life in the Sixth Form at Lingfield College offers an exciting bridge between school and university or a career path. It marks a clear transition for our students to a level of education that provides greater freedoms accompanied by more responsibility.
We are proud to be in the Top 2.5% of Schools in the UK for academic progress at A Level. This is a powerful reflection of our teaching quality, supportive environment and commitment to helping every student reach their potential.
Our purpose-built Sixth Form Centre is a warm and motivating environment for students to study, meet and socialise. With access to specialist teaching rooms for careers education, a 150-seat lecture theatre, the Atrium Café and dedicated study rooms, students can explore and assert their independence within a vibrant and familiar community atmosphere.
Empowering Students for Life Beyond Sixth Form
Building on the strong foundations established at GCSE, the Sixth Form offers a broad and varied curriculum. Students feel the benefit of small classes and individual support and tuition that prepare them for university and beyond. In addition, our enrichment programme provides extensive opportunities for personal development through fieldwork, trips and a variety of educational and co-curricular activities. Students can participate in The Duke of Edinburgh Award, drama, sports and music, Extended Project Qualifications (EPQ) and other leadership opportunities.
Students leave our Sixth Form with a defined pathway, they are well-rounded, confident and with a sense of purpose, ready to discover the world beyond Lingfield. Our alumni have secured places at prestigious universities, including Imperial College London, Durham, and Edinburgh, reflecting the strong foundation built during their time in the Sixth Form.
