Year 11 visit Lingfield Primary for French and Spanish Lesson

On Friday 2nd Feb, Madame Fournès, Head of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL), French teacher Monsieur Gonachon, and year 11 linguists Adam, Chloe, Lucy and Verity visited Lingfield Primary for a French and Spanish lesson with year 6 pupils.

The lessons aimed to introduce the fundamentals of French and Spanish to pupils and teach expressions such as "hello," "how are you", "where are you from" and other commonly used phrases in both French and Spanish. The afternoon ended with some French Madeleines.

This was a great opportunity for our year 11 students to share their knowledge and try out their teaching skills before they sit their GCSEs this summer. 

We are looking forward to the next partnership event in March, which is a STEAM event held at Lingfield College.
