Lingfield College Nursery Receives Glowing Ofsted Report
We are thrilled to share the outstanding results of our recent Ofsted inspection, which highlights the exceptional quality of care and education provided in The Baby Room at Lingfield College Nursery. The inspectors particularly praised the nurturing and stimulating environment in our under 2’s room, The Cocoon, awarding the Nursery a 'very strong good' rating.
The report celebrated the positive atmosphere we provide for our youngest learners, noting how “children beam with delight as they show pride in their accomplishments.” The inspector also recognised the “warmth and kindness” of our staff, ensuring every child feels safe, valued, and supported as they develop confidence in their surroundings.
Leaders at the Nursery were commended for setting high expectations and fostering a culture where children thrive. The report highlighted the ‘high-quality’ teaching and ‘broad and interesting range of activities’, adding that “staff implement an effective and ambitious curriculum designed to appropriately challenge children.” It was noted that our dedicated team knows each child exceptionally well, understanding their unique interests and developmental needs.
Recent improvements were acknowledged, with a particular focus on enhancing collaboration between staff and parents to support children’s learning at home. This strong partnership is fundamental to ensuring the best outcomes for our children, and we are immensely grateful for the support and engagement of our Nursery families.
