Rock and Jazz night hits all the right notes

Lingfield Students treated parents and staff to two nights of superb music this year. After some intensive rehearsing the week before, our student bands didn't disappoint, performing numbers from Led Zepplin and the Foo Fighters. The Lingfield guitar group and Jazz band also performed several numbers and there was also some impressive dancing from the audience during the ABBA medley. So much energy on stage with Black Ice, I managed to charge my phone off it! 

An amazing night of entertainment!! Such talented musicians and singers, they had the crowd on their feet and dancing! Fantastic to see the older pupils playing alongside year 7s, more girl bands and girls playing electric guitar to a really high standard and more boys on lead vocals. Rock and Jazz night just goes from strength to strength and is a credit to the school and its music department.
