A Week of Learning, Discovery and Fun: Enrichment Week 2026
The school was buzzing with energy and excitement during Enrichment Week 2026 as our students had the chance to take part in some informative, practical, rewarding and most of all fun activities!
We hold this week every year to help our students develop life skills, step out of their comfort zones, and enjoy new experiences with friends.
Year 7
Year 7 had some fantastic off-site adventures exploring the wonders of science at Herstmonceux Science Observatory and bringing history to life at Battle Abbey. They also spent time on-site developing rhythm through beatboxing and dance, learning valuable lifesaving first-aid skills, and putting their teamwork and engineering skills to the test in a castle-building challenge!
Year 8
Year 8 enjoyed an action-packed week of discovery, creativity and teamwork. Students stepped back in time with a visit to Hever Castle, challenged their problem-solving skills through Escape Boxes, STEMbotics and CSI activities. They also brought their own stories to life in an exciting one-day film workshop. To round off the week, everyone embraced the fun at Lingfield’s iconic Colour Run, finishing the day covered in every colour of the rainbow.
Year 9
Year 9 enjoyed a fantastic week packed with exciting opportunities, from bouncing across the Zorbing course to honing their creative skills in a photography workshop. They tackled challenges at the jungle gym - WildFit and put their engineering skills to the test during the AeroSTEM aircraft design competition. The week was rounded off with an exhilarating trip to Thorpe Park, giving students the chance to celebrate their achievements, challenge themselves and create unforgettable memories with their friends!
Year 12
Year 12 enjoyed a full programme of activities designed to prepare them for life beyond sixth form.
They developed valuable life skills through car maintenance, cooking for university and first aid, equipping them with greater confidence and independence. They also enjoyed time with their friends on a trip to Bewl Water and Tulley's Escape Rooms.
