U13 Girls Make History as the First Team to Qualify for a National Hockey Final
Huge well done to U13 girls, who are the first Lingfield team to have won a place in the ISHC National Cup finals!
The team have played 24 fixtures this year and scored 84 goals. In the ISHC rounds, they faced some impressive opposition, including Gordon's School, St Faith's School, Kings High School, Warwick and St John's Leatherhead. They were also runners-up at the ISA Nationals at Lee Valley.
"We are incredibly proud of the team and their performance. It was a nail-biting quarter-final going to penalties, but the girls really kept their nerve when it mattered most."
Miss Maddie Thompson, Assistant Director of Sport
The finals in Nottingham will be the perfect way to finish a brilliant season for the girls, and we wish them the best of luck in February.
