Year 5 Enjoy a 3-Day Adventure at Juniper Hall

Despite the wet weather this week, Year 5 had a great 3-day adventure on their first residential school trip to Juniper Hall. They took part in a huge variety of team-building activities and learnt all about river flows and what lives within the water.

On a night-walk they gazed at the constellations before creating their own using glow in the dark stars, complete with an explanation of the myth as to how it was created.

Shelter-building tested their survival and engineering skills as a ‘storm’ rolled in and, if their shelters had gaps, they got wet! All had a thoroughly enjoyable time with extra skills (such as buttering bread and making their bed) and memories were made.
