School Charity Stories 2022/23
Supporting charities is an important part of the Lingfield ethos and every year pupils, parents and staff fundraise for specific charities.
This year students chose Bone Cancer Research Trust and Wildlife Aid Foundation
Senior School
This year Senior School students have chosen Bone Cancer Research Trust as their School Charity. They are dedicated to saving lives and improving outcomes for people affected by primary bone cancer.
There will be lots of fundraising events happening throughout the year, and we can't wait to start raising funds for this important charity. Please visit our JustGiving page below if you would like to donate.
Prep School
The Prep School has chosen the Wildlife Aid Foundation as their charity for this academic year. Foundation Rep, Douglas, visited the school to tell the children about the amazing work they do and why it is so important to support them! Now is the time to give back to our planet, and help preserve its rich diversity of animals.
The pupils pledged to get involved with iDot (I Do One Thing) to personally contribute to helping the Wildlife Aid Foundation.
You can support the Prep school by getting involved with the different charity events planned throughout the academic year. You can even help out when doing your online shopping!

Student Fundraising
Youth Enterprise Project with St Catherine's Hospice, March 2023
Senior School had a blast on our non-uniform day watching a staff v students charity football match organised by the Lingfield College Youth Enterprise Project. The staff team took the win 3-2 with some skilful moves on the pitch. So far, the Youth Enterprise team have raised over £700 from their fundraising for St Catherine's Hospice, and today they were hoping to add to that total through the non-uniform and doughnut sale during the match.

Youth Enterprise Project with St Catherine's Hospice, February 2023
The Youth Enterprise Project is a Partnership between NatWest and St Catherine's Hospice to turn £50 into £1500 between 19 February and the end of term​. Schools compete to try and raise as much money possible and win awards. This year, 10 and 11 students are attempting to raise as much money as possible by running fantastic events for students. We wish them the best of luck with their fundraising!

November 2022 - Wear It Pink Day for Breast Cancer Now
In November, Lingfield College Sixth Form participated in Wear It Pink Day in order to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Now. Sixth Form raised £166 in total. Thank you to everyone who got involved in wearing pink and donating, the money is going to a tremendous cause.
October 2022 - Prep Bake Sale for Wildlife Aid
Before half term, Year 5 and 6 pupils ran a bake sale to raise money for the Prep School's chosen charity, Wildlife Aid. They raised a super £301! Well done everybody and thank you to all who supported the event and enjoyed some delicious treats.
