A Level Students Investigate Key Psychological Theories
As part of their A Level Psychology studies, Year 13 students visited Prep this week to solidify their knowledge of the Cognition & Development topic. Our Prep pupils had great fun participating and enjoyed the opportunity to mix with our senior students.
"Working in small groups, we carried out four experiments: water conservation, counter conservation, the “Holly” scenario, and egocentrism with both Year 1 and Year 6 pupils.
The results showed clear developmental differences: Year 1 pupils generally did well with most tasks, although they struggled with egocentrism, while Year 6 pupils demonstrated understanding across all areas. Overall, the experience was both insightful and surprising, bringing us students a greater understanding of the topics."
