Lingfield Make it 4 in a Row with ISA London South Football Success
U11s heading to St Georges Park for the Nationals for the fourth year
On Friday 6th October Lingfield hosted the ISA London South Regional 5-a-side Football Tournament. Both our Colts A and B teams took part along with 18 other schools from across the London South region.
Both of our Lingfield teams won their respective groups to progress to the knockout stages, playing some fantastic football along the way. The B team successfully beat 5 A teams as they made it through to the quarter-final stages. The A team managed to navigate the group stages and knockout rounds without conceding a goal, culminating in a place in the final and winning the regional title for the 4th year in a row.

Well done to both teams and all the boys who took part; Ossie, Harry, Jude, Woody, Luca, Jack, Zac, James, Ethan, Owen, Alex, Alfie Isaiah, Rian & Noah.
The Colts A boys can now look forward to competing in the national tournament at the prestigious England FA training facility, St George’s Park on Friday 8th March 2024.
My favourite part of the tournament was saving 2 penalties to get us to the finals.
