Lingfield Celebrates European Languages Week

This week, as part of European Day of Languages, senior and prep school embraced the food and languages of different cultures! 

Learning a new language has numerous benefits, including enhancing job opportunities, allowing for a more enjoyable experience with books, films, and news in their original language, and boosting self-confidence.

Prep

Prep school participated in workshops to explore culture, ethnicity, and heritage.

They sampled some tasty International food at lunchtimes and enjoyed fun taster sessions, including Albanian dancing, Irish dancing and learning Japanese.

Senior

Students could participate in language taster lessons, including Zulu, Mandarin, and Italian.

Holroyd Howe catering delivered an impressive week-long menu for the senior students, including menus from Germany, France, Spain and Sweden.
