There was space for creative, outcomes-driven practice. In 2021, she took the leap of faith and founded Wave. Fast-forward 2.5 years and Wave is now a growing team of eight Speech and Language therapists and two speech and language therapy assistants. We are led by out-of-the-box thinking and a deep commitment to understanding the needs of our young people. We are currently running the provision in four FE colleges, working alongside youth justice teams, part of a government-funded project piloting a specialist task force model for young people with SEMH and delivering remote training programmes on all things communication.
