Lingfield Colts A and B Teams Perform Brilliantly at ISA Football Festival
A wonderful way to round off the boys’ football season as 14 pupils travelled to LVS Ascot for the U11 ISA Football Festival.
Colts B
Our B team put in an excellent set of performances, winning three of their five matches - all against A teams. Their efforts earned them a place in the plate competition, where they finished in third after a hard‑fought 1–0 victory over Alleyn Court in their final game.
Colts A
The Lingfield A team progressed confidently to the cup competition following the group stages and went on to dominate the knockout rounds. They recorded a 2–1 win over LVS Ascot, followed by a commanding 3–0 semi‑final victory against Broughton Manor, before sealing the title with an impressive 4–0 win over Akeley Wood in the final.
A huge well done to all the children involved. It was a brilliant day of football and a fitting way to finish what has been a very successful season!
