Strong Performances from Prep Cross Country Teams at Surrey School Champs
Well done to the 12 Prep athletes who took part in the Surrey Schools Primary Cross Country Championships on Saturday 19th January at Priory Park, Reigate.
Due to the high number of entries from schools across the county, each race was divided into two heats. All of our Lingfield pupils ran brilliantly on the challenging course. Some battled through injury, and one showed great determination by getting back up after a fall and continuing the race. Every child completed the course and demonstrated outstanding resilience. They should all be extremely proud of their efforts.

Bonnie - 10th in race 1 - 19th overall
Pippa - 26th in race 1 - 52nd overall
Lucy - 42nd in race 1 - 78th overall

142 boys completed the course
Harvey - 3rd in race 1 - 4th overall
Leo - 19th in race 1 - 38th overall
Ollie 29th in race 1 - 56th overall
We can look forward to more cross-country events this term, including the ISA Regionals in February.
