Chloe wins National Philosophy Essay Competition

Congratulations to Chloe in Year 13 who has won the Philosophy Essay Prize 2025, addressing the question, 'Does Everything Have an Explanation?'.

The Philosophy Essay Prize is set by Trinity College Cambridge, and open to Year 12 or Lower 6th students around the world. The aim of the Prize is to encourage able sixth formers to pursue their interest in Philosophy, with the hope that they will be encouraged to read this or related subjects at University. Chloe entered the competition in the spring of this year and found out over the summer that she was the overall winner, receiving a prize for herself and for Lingfield College. In September, she went up to Cambridge, where she was awarded her certificate and prize.

Well done Chloe!
