Lingfield Lower School Has a Sweet Success with Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator

Lingfield Lower School drama students wowed audiences over two sold-out nights with their ambitious and imaginative production of Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator. Based on Roald Dahl’s 1972 sequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the play launched audiences on an intergalactic journey straight from the chocolate factory into outer space.

The young cast brought energy, humour and heart to the performance, supported by stunning visuals, a vibrant set, and dynamic lighting effects. Audiences were treated to a creative retelling that showcased the talents of every student involved, both onstage and behind the scenes.
