Lingfield College Welcomes Dormansland Pupils for a Afternoon of Giving Back

Yesterday, Lingfield College hosted an afternoon of fun activities welcoming Year 3 and 4 pupils from Dormansland Primary School for a special "Giving Back to Younger Children" event.

The afternoon began with a relaxing outdoor lunch on Le Clerc Lawn, where the children from both schools sat together, chatted, and soaked up the sunshine. It was the perfect setting to kick off a community-focused afternoon built on kindness and connection.

After lunch, our Year 9 students paired up with the visiting children as buddies for activities. From garden games, rounders, and dodgeball to story time and colourful hand painting, there lots of energy and laughter across the grounds.

The afternoon not only gave the younger pupils a chance to explore a new environment but also gave our students a meaningful opportunity to step into leadership roles and give back to those in the local community.
