Upper School Shines in Enchanting Production of The Snow Queen

Snow Queen, performed by our upper school, was a humorous and charming play which through students professionalism and confidence on stage, brought the story to life of Gerda's courageous mission to rescue friend Kai who had been captured by the Snow Queen. The production was an endearing watch with a heartfelt tribute taking place at the end from our drama students, showing their appreciation towards their teachers who had poured their time and resources into the production.

Student Review by Sophie (Year 10):

"Snow Queen was an amazing play which showcased the skills and talents of my friends and year group. The show looked so professional with the designed set and crew, allowing the storyline to be even more engaging and comedic.

Matthew Yr 13 made a speech about the amazing opportunities the Drama department had given him and how grateful he was to both teachers for believing in him."

Head of Drama, Mr McEwan, said: “A huge well done to the cast and crew of our Upper School production of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen. The cast told the story beautifully, with two performances full of skill, humour, and charm. Combined with the amazing set and costumes, it created an altogether enchanting theatrical experience.”

We couldn’t be prouder of our students and staff—The Snow Queen was a truly show-stopping success.
