England International Rugby Player Zoe Harrison visits Lingfield

Today we were delighted to welcome England International and Saracens rugby player Zoe Harrison to Lingfield.  Zoe was part of the England 2025 Rugby World Cup squad, making her the perfect guest to visit us for International Women's Day.

We started the morning with a Q & A session hosted by Mr Douse and Mrs Greetham where our students and staff had lots of questions for Zoe about her pathway to international rugby, playing for Saracens, balancing life and training, and her match-day fuelling.

Zoe then headed over to the Astro with Director of Sport, Mr Casey to watch year 7 and 8 girls in an energetic rugby training session, where she shared some expert tips on passing and kicking the ball.

A big thank you to Zoe for sharing her story with us today, it left our students feeling inspired to have a go at a new sport.

Our new girls' rugby co-curricular club has been extremely popular with year 7 and 8, and this is something we hope to expand in the future by adding in fixtures as well.
