U11s Crowned Plate Champions at National Finals

Congratulations to our Colts A team who are ISA Hockey Plate winners!

The team enjoyed an excellent day of hockey, showcasing teamwork, determination, and skill throughout the ISA National tournament, held at Lee Valley Hockey Centre.

They opened strongly with a convincing 3–0 win over Holme Grange School, followed by a tightly contested 0–0 draw against Weston Green. Momentum continued to build in the third match, where the boys secured a 1–0 victory against Oakhyrst Grange.

With second place in the group already assured, Lingfield rounded off the opening stage with a 1–1 draw against Akeley Wood, with the scoreline not reflecting Lingfield’s attacking play. 

As the team progressed into the Plate competition, they continued to play some fantastic hockey. A dominant performance in the semi-final saw them defeat Crackley Hall 3–0, before finishing the day in style with a composed 2–0 win over Cranford School in the Plate final.

It was a fantastic effort from the whole squad, who played with great spirit and teamwork throughout the day. Well done to all the boys involved who remained unbeaten in their 6 matches!
