Behind the Mask

As part of Pip Tuppen's Expressions of Covid Exhibition, the English Department have compiled an anthology of creative writing from the entire Lingfield College community - students, staff, and parents/carers. The theme this year is Behind the Mask and focusses on writing inspired by and linked to this theme.
If Lockdown life drew out a creative side you weren't aware you had, or simply gave you some time to muse on life's mysteries. It can be something you have written in the past, or something new. It just needs to be your own work.
We are looking for poetry, short stories, journal entries, song lyrics, descriptive writing and so on. Equally, if you prefer to express yourself through artwork rather than the written word, we would also welcome submissions to help illustrate the anthology alongside the creative writing.
The deadline for submissions is 12th February 2021 and entries should be emailed to ridleyk@lingfieldcollege.co.uk or hubbardc@lingfieldcollege.co.uk. These may be published anonymously if preferred.
Some of our student writing is available to read through our English Department.
