Teacher of Physics - January 2022 

For January 2022, we are seeking to appoint an innovative, well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Physics.  The successful candidate should be a motivated and self-reflective professional who is capable of working independently and as part of a team.  They would be expected to contribute to the delivery of the subject from KS3 up to A-Level and participate in Science Club activities.

Science is an extremely popular and academically successful subject in the School, with many of our A-level students going on to study STEM-related subjects at top universities. 

The Senior School has excellent facilities and we have small classes to enable focus on individual students who ‘have outstanding attitudes to learning and develop excellent relationships with their teachers’ (ISI 2017).  A Level and GCSE results are consistently excellent, enabling most students to gain their first choice of university. Our A Level results in 2020 saw 99% grades A*-C, with 71% achieving A*-A, and at GCSE 100% grades 9-4, with 73% achieving 9-7.

Kitchen Porter - Holroyd Howe

Responsibilities include general manual wash up of all kitchen and service items, putting away deliveries and general cleaning of store area, minimal food preparation and assisting in keeping the catering area clean and tidy.

Ideally the candidate will have experience in a similar position, however training will be given.

Start Date 23/08/2021

The role is full time 40 hours per week, 7.30 am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday term time only (42 weeks a year).

Salary: £15,120 per annum
