Prep School Secretary

We are currently recruiting a part-time Secretary to assist with the smooth running of the Prep School Office, undertaking a range of both secretarial and administrative duties. Day-to-day tasks include meeting visitors, dealing with telephone enquiries, co-ordinating extra-curricular activities and, at times, administering first aid.

This post is a varied and busy role and will require someone who is highly organised, has proven ICT skills, is approachable and willing to deal with a variety of tasks with a ‘can do’ and flexible approach to work.

Experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage but is not essential.

Early Years Practitioner

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and flexible individual to join our friendly Nursery team.  The ideal candidate will support the Foundation Stage Leader to assist in the smooth running of the classroom and to provide support for children in the Nursery in a welcoming, caring and safe environment.  This position requires a qualification of NVQ 2 or 3 or equivalent. The successful candidate will have experience of working within a similar setting and be able to provide a fun and stimulating learning environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential.

The Nursery is open for 50 weeks per year and runs on a shift pattern to ensure year round childcare for our children. 

Hours of Work: Full-time Monday to Friday, working 40 weeks per year, on a shift rota which will include early shift (starting 7.30 a.m.) and late shift (finishing 6.30 p.m.)

Temporary until 31st August 2020 in the first instance.

Salary: competitive and discussed at interview.

Chef Manager

We require a hard working Chef Manager to join our team at this prestigious Prep School, working 45 weeks per year, which are mainly term time, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, catering from Nursery to Year 6 for around 350 pupils and adults. 

Experience is a similar role is essential as well as a passion for food, a good sense of humour, ability to be innovative and have a good eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be able to lead a small team, support the daily due diligence in both food safety and health and safety, to complete stock takes and have a knowledge of allergen management. Computer literacy, ability to complete basic costings and to plan menus are also required for this role.

Catering Assistant

Holroyd Howe at Lingfield College require a catering assistant.

9.30am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday.

Term Time only with occasional overtime.

The salary for this post is £8.29 ph.

General duties are a small amount of food preparation, service and general cleaning.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, however training will be given.
