Head of Academic PE

At Lingfield College Surrey, we are looking for an exceptional PE Teacher to head up our thriving PE department, from January 2021 or September 2021. 

Whilst inspiring students to enjoy physical education, the successful candidate should use excellent teaching and learning strategies to inspire and motivate students. A commitment to teaching ages 11 to 18, and experience of teaching at A Level is essential. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and capable leader with very high academic and professional standards. The PE department is highly successful, well-resourced and fully staffed.

The Senior School has excellent sports facilities including a newly refurbished gym. We have small classes to enable focus on individual students, who ‘have outstanding attitudes to learning and develop excellent relationships with their teachers’  (ISI 2017).

Early Years Practitioner

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and flexible individual to join our friendly Nursery team.  The ideal candidate will support the Foundation Stage Leader to assist in the smooth running of the classroom and provide support for children in the Nursery in a welcoming, caring and safe environment.  This position requires a qualification of NVQ 2 or 3 or equivalent.  The successful candidate will have experience of working within a similar setting and be able to provide a fun and stimulating learning environment.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential.

The Nursery is open for 50 weeks per year and runs on a shift pattern to ensure year round childcare for our children. 

Hours of work:  Core hours are 08.25-15.40 Monday to Friday; in addition you will be required to work 10 weeks of early shift 07.30-08.25 and 10 weeks of late shift 15.35-18.30.

Salary: competitive and discussed at interview

Kitchen Porter

This is a busy role requiring a certain amount of manual handling and heavy lifting  based at Lingfield College. Term time only, Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm with occasional overtime which may include some Saturday mornings  (40 hours per week).
