After School Club Manager

We are currently recruiting an After School Club Manager to be responsible for running the After School Club at Lingfield Prep, providing high quality play activities for children aged 5 to 11 in a welcoming, caring and safe environment.

You will have experience of working within a similar setting, ideally at a supervisory level, and be able to provide a fun and stimulating learning environment.  You will have an NVQ3 qualification in childcare or play-work or other relevant professional qualification and have a knowledge and understanding of children’s age and stage of development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential.

This role is offered on a part-time basis working Monday to Friday 3.00 - 6.30 pm, term time only on a permanent contract with a competitive salary.

Brass Teacher

Lingfield College Music Department is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled peripatetic Brass Teacher to work in our Senior School, starting mid-February 2022. 

The ideal candidate will be able to teach individual lessons in all brass instruments, but especially trumpet, French horn and trombone, from Beginner to Diploma level. We have a Brass Ensemble which has weekly rehearsals and candidates should have experience in running similar style groups, selecting and arranging repertoire for differentiated parts and conducting and leading the group at school concerts. The ability to prepare pupils for concerts and competitions/auditions and a commitment to the musical life of the School is essential. 

There is currently 6 hours work with potential for numbers to grow, and the hourly rate of pay is £40 per hour.

Sports Coaches Prep School

We are currently recruiting for Sports Coaches to work at the Prep School in the new academic year.

The hours would be on an adhoc basis and the hourly rate (paid on timesheet) will be discussed at interview.

Catering Assistant

At Lingfield College Prep, we are looking to recruit a catering assistant.  The hours are 10.30am to 2.30pm   Monday to Friday - term time only.  The hourly rate £9.09 per hour.  Start date as soon as possible. Occasional overtime will be required.  A uniform and training will be provided. 

Duties include, serving lunch and general cleaning duties. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS and 2 references.

Kitchen Porter

At Lingfield College, we require a kitchen porter. Responsibilities include general manual wash up of all kitchen and service items, putting away deliveries and general cleaning of store area, minimal food preparation and assisting in keeping the catering area clean and tidy 

Ideally the candidate will have experience in a similar position, however training will be given. 

Start Date : As soon as possible 

The role is full time 40 hours per week, 7.30 am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday term time only (42 weeks a year). 

The salary is £15,120 per year.  This role is subject to an enhanced DBS and 2 references.
