External Relations Officer

The External Relations Officer role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our new Development function at Lingfield College. The role involves developing strong relationships and engagement with our Alumni community, as well as expanding fundraising for our scholarship and bursary programme.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills in order to effectively nurture relationships with a range of external contacts.
This post is a varied and busy role and will require someone who is highly organised, has proven ICT skills, including experience with desktop publishing/image editing software, data cleansing and management, and is willing to deal with a variety of tasks with a ‘can do’ and flexible approach to work.
Previous experience of working in fundraising, ideally within the education or charity sector would be an advantage.
Salary: Competitive salary discussed at interview.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8.30 am to 4.30 pm) on an all-year contract.
Annual Leave: 28 days including bank holidays.
