Prep Football Teams Enjoy Action-Packed Start to the Season

It's been an action-packed couple of weeks in the football calendar for Lingfield Prep.

Colts A

Our Colts A enjoyed two very good tournament performances, competing in both the ISFA and ISA Regional competitions. The ISA tournament was hosted by Lingfield Prep and welcomed 21 schools. On both occasions, the boys were unbeaten in the group stages and finished top of their group. Unfortunately, the knockout rounds were not quite as kind to us, losing their quarter-finals 3-2 and 1-0 respectively. The team now turns its attention to the Surrey Cup next week.

Colts B & C

Our Colts B and C teams have also made a fantastic start to the season. Both teams have continued to impress and, during the past week, have picked up excellent wins against New Beacon and Brighton Prep Handcross.

U9s

Our U9 team also enjoyed valuable tournament experience at the Lingfield Tournament. Although the results did not go our way, the experience will undoubtedly prove worthwhile, particularly with five of the seven boys playing up a year.
