On Thursday 22nd November 2018 our U11A girls’ hockey team travelled to the prestigious Lee Valley National Hockey and Tennis Centre, to compete in the ISA National Hockey Finals.
Year 6 pupil, Fiona, competed in 3 classes at the National Native Pony Championships in Leicestershire. Fiona won all her classes with high scores even though competing against adults.
On Friday 16th November we travelled to compete in the ISA London South Regional 5-a-side Football Tournament which was being held at Virgo Fidelis Convent School in Upper Norwood. A squad of 7 boys including four U10 players were eager to qualify for the national tournament, which will take place on Friday 3rd May 2019 at St George’s Park.
Jim from Restless Development Charity took an assembly last week to introduce this year’s Triathlon Challenge, taking place next April 2019.
Lingfield’s Equestrian Team had a great day out over the weekend contesting the NSEA County Championships at Felbridge.

On Saturday 10 November, despite the heavy rain, hundreds of people lined the streets in Lingfield to support The One Show’s presenter Matt Baker and the six young riders who pedalled their Rickshaw from Ashford to the Lingfield and Dormansland Community Centre.
Students in Year 6 and Year 9 were invited to enter a competition set up by our local MP, Sam Gyimah working with The British Legion, the Surrey History Centre and County Border News School children across East Surrey were asked to create something in commemoration of East Surrey's role in WWI.
The Prep School’s Eco-Warriors noticed that the apples in the Orchard were left to rot and thrown away.

Following on from last week’s excellent A Level performance, Lingfield College is delighted to announce another set of impressive GCSE results. 63% of all grades were between 9 – 7 (A* – A).
Students at Lingfield College celebrated their excellent A Level results today. Despite the increasingly rigorous nature of A Level courses which are reforming into terminal examination assessment at the end of two year’s study, over 30% of students received the top grades of A*- A in all of their subjects.
