U13 Netball Team Qualifies for ISA National Finals
On Wednesday 20th March, Lingfield U13s travelled to Warwick to compete at the ISA National Netball Finals along with the 24 other schools that qualified.
Lingfield played exceptionally well and won all the games in their pool, with wins against:
Crosfields 14-2
Queen Ethelburga's 13-8 (with a particularly strong comeback in the second half, from 3-6 down to win the second half 10-2)
Tettenhall 9-3
Shebbear - 14-1
Saint Nicholas 10-6
This put the team through to the Cup competition, against the other pool winners.
They unfortunately lost out in the semi-finals 15-4 to Princethorpe, putting them in the third/fourth play-off. This was another tough match against King's Head which they lost 17-7.
Well done to the team they should be proud of what they achieved and are 4th placed in the ISA National rankings. Their overall performance was outstanding, and it was a whole squad performance.
