PE Coach – to start September 2024

We are currently recruiting a PE Coach to work closely with the PE Team at the Prep School to support the provision of high-quality sports to our pupils.

Day-to-day tasks include helping to deliver the school’s PE curriculum from Year 3 to Year 6, coaching, umpiring, and running a team in fixtures/tournaments against other schools. If you have experience coaching a variety of sports, particularly netball, hockey, football, and cricket, we would like to hear from you. There may also be some liaison with parents regarding fixtures.

This post is a varied and busy role and will require someone who is motivated to provide a fun and stimulating environment for the children to participate in sporting activities. Experience of working in a similar role in a school environment would be an advantage but is not essential.

Salary: Competitive salary discussed at the interview dependent on qualifications and experience.

Hours: 12.30-16.30 Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, term time only.

Reprographic Technician & Office Support Assistant - to start 28th August 2024

We are currently recruiting a part-time Reprographic Technician and Office Support Assistant to ensure the smooth running of the Reprographics Department and assist with various aspects of School Office administration. This will mean handling a variety of printing and administrative tasks for all staff and students in the Senior School. 

Day-to-day tasks include a range of reprographic tasks, including laminating, binding, and providing materials for individual projects, as well as purchasing, invoicing, and general administration duties.   

This post is a varied and busy role that will require someone who is highly organised, approachable, and willing to deal with a variety of tasks with a ‘can do’ attitude and flexible work approach. Experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage but is not essential.   

This role is a part time job share. Hours of work are Monday and Tuesday 8.15am – 3.30pm Wednesday 8.15am – 11.15am, term time plus three weeks. Flexibility is essential with this job share.

Medical Officer – to start August/September 2024

We are recruiting to the role of Medical Officer in our Senior School to start in August/September 2024. This is a highly skilled role requiring the ideal candidate to support the medical needs of our students, administer front line First Aid and to provide an effective high-quality administrative service for Senior School staff, students and visitors. Day-to-day tasks include the administration of medication, supporting students to manage long-term medical conditions e.g. asthma, and liaising with parents and carers where required.

This post is a varied and busy role and will require someone who is highly organised with strong administrative skills to maintain detailed and accurate records, together with the ability to take control in an emergency situation when needed and direct others. A willingness to deal with a variety of tasks with a ‘can do’ and flexible approach to work is vital.

Experience of working in a school or medical environment would be an advantage but is not essential.

Salary: Competitive starting salary

Hours: Full-time basis 8.15am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday, term time only plus 4 weeks.
