Open Events, Tours & Experience Days

We offer private tours throughout the year and at every entry point. This is a highly personal way to experience the School on a typical working day and have the one-to-one attention of our staff. You’ll meet the Headmaster, explore our beautiful grounds, buildings and facilities, and experience our dynamic teaching in action.

When we came to visit Lingfield College we were immediately struck by the family feel of the whole school. It was so welcoming.

If you’re new to school tours (or even if you’re not!), we recommend you take notes so that you can review and reflect later – we know it’s a lot to take in at the time.  

Senior School (Autumn) and Prep School (Spring)

Enjoy an enthusiastic guided tour of our School, take in our wonderful facilities and meet with our Headmaster or Head of Prep and many of our academic and pastoral staff. There will also be the opportunity to talk to current pupils and ask us any questions. 

Our open events are the perfect way to get into the mindset of our learning approach, to appreciate our future-focused curriculum and to understand how we nurture and enable our happy, confident young people.

Sixth Form Options & Information Evening 

Join us in October for our Sixth Form Options & Information Evening. Discover how we can provide you with an exceptional Sixth Form education that prepares you for your future plans, whether university, degree apprenticeship or a fulfilling career. In our dedicated Sixth Form centre you will meet our specialist teaching staff and hear from our Sixth Form Leadership team and current students, who will share insights on life at Lingfield, the benefits of studying here, and the opportunities available to you. You’ll also have the chance to learn about the wide range of subjects on offer, all with small classes and fantastic facilities and resources.

At Lingfield, we strive to help students identify their talents and strengths and guide them towards fulfilling their potential. Our supportive learning environment fosters independence, discovery, and success.

Prep School in Action Events

Our School in Action events are a popular way to offer prospective parents and pupils a real insight into Lingfield Prep School on a ‘normal’ school day. You will be invited to join the Head of Prep School for refreshments, followed by a guided tour. These sessions usually last for 45–60 minutes, and we offer several time slots throughout the week.

During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Talk to teachers about day-to-day school life
• Observe teaching and pastoral work
• Watch a range of lessons and age groups being taught
• Meet our fantastic children
• Explore our beautiful grounds, exceptional facilities and dynamic teaching spaces.

Senior School Experience Days 

We invite current Year 5 and Year 7 children wishing to join the Senior School in Year 7 and Year 9 to our interactive experience events in the Summer term. They are always fun occasions and enable pupils to get a real sense of what our lessons are like the food they can expect to enjoy and the experienced and dedicated staff who will support them at the School. It’s the best way to experience Lingfield life and get a firm idea of what being a pupil here is really like.
