Partnership With Parents

It is important that there is a good partnership between teachers and parents, so that our children feel secure at school and develop a sense of well-being and achievement.

We recognise the role that parents have played, and their future role, in educating the children, therefore we endeavour to develop good relationships with parents where they feel comfortable and able to speak to our staff.

We keep parents fully informed of their child's progress through informal and formal discussions, having an open door policy and parents' evenings and Focus Groups. Parents at the most recent Focus Group stated, “The team is exceptionally good and the topics covered have been fantastic and very inspiring.”

Throughout the school, each class has parent reps, who arrange activities and social events for children and parents throughout the year.

This is in addition to the Lingfield Parents' Association who arrange our fabulous Summer and Christmas fairs as well as many other activities. This gives the school a supportive, family atmosphere.
