Part Time Teacher of Business (0.5) from 2020
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our successful and expanding Business and Economics Department from September 2020. All teachers in the department deliver across the subject. The successful candidate will be a hard working individual with a high level of energy and an interest in teaching and supporting the development of Business BTEC. Previous experience in teaching Business BTEC is advantageous.
We have small classes to enable focus on individual students, who ‘have outstanding attitudes to learning and develop excellent relationships with their teachers’ (ISI 2017). Our results are consistently high; our A Level results in 2019 saw Business achieve 83% grades A*-B and Economics 75% A*-A, and GCSE Economics achieved 83% grades 9-6. Lingfield College Music Department is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled peripatetic Orchestral Percussion and Drum Kit Teacher to work in both our Prep and Senior Schools, starting January 2020.
The ideal candidate will be able to teach individual lessons, orchestral xylophone and drum kit, from beginner to grade 6 and run rehearsals for our Samba Band and Key Stage 1 Percussion group in the Prep School. Ability to prepare pupils for concerts and competitions / auditions and a commitment to the musical life of the School is essential.
There is currently one day’s work on Wednesdays, starting at 8.15am and lessons would be £20.00 per 30 minutes.

9.30am to 3.15pm Monday to Friday.
Term Time only with occasional overtime.
The salary for this post is £8.29 ph.
General duties are a small amount of food preparation, service and general cleaning.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, however training will be given.
