When are the Entrance Examinations? |
||||||||||||||
The Entrance Examinations consist of three papers; Verbal Reasoning, Mathematics and English (standard comprehension and creative writing). Please note that it is not our policy to send out examples of past papers to assist in preparation. Verbal Reasoning papers are available to download from the internet and are available from all good high street bookshops. If your child has not seen a Verbal Reasoning paper before, we would recommend some practice ahead of the Examinations.

This is arranged following receipt of the Registration Form, fee and supporting documents. References and reports with predicted and mock GCSE grades are then requested from the current school. Entry requirement - A place cannot be guaranteed for those not achieving 43 points in the summer although some concessions may be made for students who have been awarded consistently high effort grades as well as having a good disciplinary record, providing they are prepared to follow our advice on option choices. |
