Guitar Teacher - Sep 2024

Lingfield College Prep Music Department is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled peripatetic Guitar Teacher to work in our Prep School, starting September 2024.

The ideal candidate will be able to teach individual lessons in all grades from beginner to advanced, and will be comfortable teaching both ABRSM and Trinity exams. In addition to teaching and preparing Prep School pupils for exams and performances, the role will involve running a weekly ensemble at the Prep School, as well as writing reports, attending evening concerts and INSET courses when required.

The role is for one full day of teaching and the hourly rate of pay is £44 per hour.

Economics and Business Teacher – Sep 2024

We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our inclusive and supportive Economics and Business Department.    The successful candidate should be able to teach GCSE and A Level Economics and Business and ideally have a knowledge of BTEC Business, as well as be a motivated and self-reflective professional who is capable of working independently and as part of a team.

The Senior School has excellent facilities, and we have small classes to enable focus on individual students who ‘have outstanding attitudes to learning and develop excellent relationships with their teachers’ (ISI 2017).  A Level and GCSE results are consistently excellent, enabling most students to gain their first choice of university.

We are committed to ongoing personal development and with management training and sponsored learning programmes, we can help you to achieve your professional goals.

The extra-curricular programme at Lingfield is exciting and extensive and all teachers are expected to contribute to it.  Applications are equally welcomed from newly qualified and experienced teachers and those from the state and independent sectors.

This role will be available on a full-time basis starting September 2024.

Spanish and German/French Teacher (maternity cover) – Sep 2024

We are seeking to appoint an innovative, well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of MFL as maternity cover from September 2024 to April 2025, with the possibility of full year contract.  The successful candidate should be a motivated and self-reflective professional who is capable of working independently and as part of a team.  They would be expected to contribute to the delivery of Spanish to KS5, and German and/or French to KS3.
