Lingfield celebrates difference with Shaun Dellenty

Inclusion and diversity are very much part of our ethos at Lingfield College. So we were delighted to welcome Award-winning educator, #LGBT+ inclusion advocate and author of ‘Celebrating Difference – A Whole School Approach to LGBT+ Inclusion Shaun Dellenty to deliver a training session for staff today about compassion, inclusion, kindness and equality in Schools and facing prejudice head-on in the school environment.

His powerful and informative talk touched on his personal experiences of exclusion, the impact of prejudice related bullying and his advocacy work in both primary and secondary schools. It provoked us to think and reflect upon our current approach to inclusive education and how we can work even harder towards embedding a whole school culture of equality and celebration of difference.
