On Sunday 7th February, 13 Lingfield students took part in the Shrewsbury MUN Virtual Conference. Our students represented Canada and Spain and once again had a very successful and enjoyable day, receiving special mention in the Advisor meetings. 

For each committee there were a number of awards: 

  • Best Young Delegate
  • Commended Delegate
  • Highly Commended Delegate
  • Outstanding Delegate

Congratuations also go to Christopher (Year 11) for taking part in his very first Conference, and to Tom (Y13), Cormac (Y10) and Daniel (Y12) who all made valuable contributions in committee sessions. 

A special mention to Sophia and David for leading a master class on writing resolutions during our Friday MUN lunch time meeting, and coaching the students in the weeks up to this. 

There are three more conferences to look forward to this term, the next one takes place on 12th and 13th March.
