Mental Health Awareness Week 2018

Lingfield College students across both the Prep and Senior Schools have been participating in a range of activities concentrating on breaking the stigma of mental health. The School is mindful of the importance of positive mental health for the well-being of the whole school community, and has made it a high profile event in its annual calendar.

Lingfield College’s aim is to prepare their students for life post-education, and to have a clear understanding of our own and others mental health is a vital part of that. During the national Mental Health Awareness Week, the facts and realities of mental health are addressed, both positive and negative.

Students and staff in the Senior and Prep School have been encouraged to participate in a wide range of physical, creative and educational activities including candle making, Zumba, guided meditation, baking, a sing-along, rounders and art therapy.
