German Exchange Report
In half term a group of Year 9 and 10 German students paid a return visit to their exchange partners in Warburg. They spent a full 8 days experiencing culture and traditions in host families and were able to visit some world heritage sites as well as participate in lessons of our partner school, the Gymnasium Marianum.
It came as a bit of a shock that the school day started at 7.30am, which considering Germany is an hour ahead of the UK resulted in some initial sleep-deprivation. But on the other hand everyone enjoyed having free afternoons to spend doing activities with their friends in beautiful sunshine. According to the German saying : "Wenn Engel reisen scheint immer die Sonne" our group was the most angelic to ever take a school trip abroad!
