Welcome to Lingfield Prep

Children thrive in the happy, caring environment of Lingfield Prep School, which is positioned next to the Senior School. It is a place of learning, opportunity, creativity, fun and friendship, where pupils are valued as individuals and encouraged to flourish and fulfil their potential. Whether they are moving up from our Nursery or reception or coming to us from elsewhere, our family feel and pastoral care are designed to make every child feel recognised, valued and, above all else, happy. As a result of our approach, our children grow into independent learners who give their very best, know who they are and are ready for the next steps in their education.

Prep School Learning

Children are academically challenged through an innovative curriculum delivered by dedicated and engaging class teachers and subject specialists in Languages, Music, Sports and Creative Arts. Bright, modern, spacious classrooms provide a stimulating environment that maximises learning. Furthermore, pupils have access to a dedicated Computer suites, Science lab, Art and drama studios. On extensive and beautiful grounds in the Surrey countryside, pupils have the space to be themselves, and they make full use of our orchards, playing fields and wildlife areas.

The learning here goes far beyond the classroom, with our subjects brought to life by trips and excursions, a wide range of sporting opportunities and a thriving co-curricular programme and house system.

Our son has always been very happy at Lingfield, and we have nothing but praise for the school. It's as close to perfect as any school could be.
